Production remains on hold at Pumpkin Hollow during virus; company says ready to open ASAP

Rgj - Pumpkin Hollow Copper Mine is ready to resume production as soon as virus restrictions ease and copper prices rise, a company official said Monday. 

But, until that happens, the mine will focus on developing infrastructure rather than production, Vice President for External and Government Relations Tim Dhyr said in an interview with the Mason Valley News.

“We decided since we have to finish the underground development, and with the China trade war, COVID, the copper prices, we put the mill on standby,” Dhry said.
