Cassini Resources drilling confirms Yarawindah is part of emerging New Norcia nickel sulphide province
Proactiveinvestors - The project is prospective for nickel, copper, cobalt and platinum group elements, namely palladium and platinum.
Cassini Resources Ltd's (ASX:CZI) final results from maiden diamond drilling have returned further strong nickel and copper results at Yarawindah Brook project near New Norcia in WA.
The results have identified a third nickel-copper-PGE sulphide prospect which has been named Ovis and provide evidence that Yarrawindah is part of the emerging nickel-copper-PGE New Norcia Nickel Sulphide Province.
Assays have been received for Ovis, which is around 400 metres east of Avena prospect where encouraging mineralisation was recently encountered, including 0.12-metre at 5.97% nickel, 0.75% copper, 0.39% cobalt and 2.66 g/t platinum group elements from 84.3 metres.
